Our Maritime Team

Our Maritime Team is at the forefront of innovative maritime planning, design, and development. With a global presence and a team of multi-disciplinary experts, we assist our international clients in creating successful ports and maritime infrastructure worldwide. Our expertise spans commercial, technical, and operational advice, as well as master planning and feasibility studies.

The Role

We are seeking a talented Maritime Civil Engineer to join our Edinburgh team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of engineering design solutions for maritime civil engineering structures and elements. Your technical expertise and practical experience will be essential in delivering high-quality projects from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing designs and analyses for maritime and associated structures
  • Collecting and collating design data
  • Carrying out inspections and surveys
  • Producing sketch drawings and details for CAD drafting
  • Preparing draft Bills of Quantities, Contract Documents, and Specifications
  • Undertaking structural analyses and reporting
  • Providing engineering judgment and advice
  • Commercial and technical management of projects

Requirements include a Civil or Structural Engineering Degree (or equivalent) and background in Maritime structures. You will be based in Edinburgh and willing to travel occasionally throughout the UK and overseas.
