Job Summary:

Axion Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with Electrical Bias to join our client's team in the FMCG industry. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal production levels
  • Conduct PLC fault finding and troubleshooting to minimize production losses
  • React quickly to machinery breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics to identify maintenance requirements
  • Adhere to strict Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair tasks to maintain equipment reliability
  • Hold a Level 3 Engineering qualification and have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Engineering qualification
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
