Job Details

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our primary school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example as an outstanding classroom practitioner, raising standards and attainment across the primary age range.
  • Develop and implement curriculum developments, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive improvement.
  • Support the development of a vibrant learning community, fostering excellent relationships with colleagues, children, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning, providing mentoring and coaching to enhance professional practice.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting excellence in learning and behavior.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an outstanding classroom practitioner, with a strong track record of raising standards and attainment.
  • Excellent educational knowledge, with a sound understanding of the curriculum, phonics, and early reading.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues and children.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, children, and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
