About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at HUBER+SUHNER. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage inventory accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all goods are correctly recorded and allocated.
  • Update and maintain our warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure that all stock levels and movements are accurately reflected.
  • Coordinate the picking and packing of goods for dispatch, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with our production team to ensure that all production and replenishment orders are correctly processed and dispatched.
  • Ensure that all customer goods are labelled correctly and in accordance with our company procedures and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, including conducting regular cycle counts to ensure that our inventory levels are accurate.
  • Perform cable cutting tasks as required, using our cable cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Update our SAP system with the correct actions related to production orders, ensuring that all transfer of completed production orders is carried out in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that our warehouse is maintained in a safe and healthy working environment, reporting any issues to our Transport & Warehouse Manager.
  • Comply with all company procedures and policies, including customs compliance procedures on both import and export.
  • Verify customs entry documentation from transport companies, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and complete.
  • Electronically file all documentation for traceability.
  • Perform general data administration duties as required.

About You

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will have a strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations, with experience in using WMS systems and SAP. You will also have a forklift license and experience in goods in and dispatch, kitting, and cable cutting.
