Supporting Individuals with Complex Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, including those with learning disabilities, dementia, and physical impairments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with manual handling, including hoists and wheelchairs
  • Providing full and intimate personal care, including bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
  • Supporting individuals with late-stage dementia diagnoses, epilepsy, and high physical and sensory needs
  • Assisting with eating and drinking, home security, finances, housekeeping, and healthcare needs, including medication
  • Supporting individuals to participate in community activities, including searching for and creating fun things to do, using public transport, and walking to planned events

Requirements:

  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable)
  • Ability to work a mixture of early, late, and overnight shifts, including weekends
  • Generous holidays, including 33 days of annual leave and 8 statutory bank holidays
  • Pay incentives, including 10% overtime allowance and 20% Bank Holiday allowance
  • Training and development opportunities, including a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
