We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 team at Elloughton Primary School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work under the direction of the phase leader, class teacher, and Inclusion Manager to provide tailored support to pupils with specific needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help foster high expectations and enthusiasm for learning among pupils.
  • Contribute to the school team as a positive and proactive member.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
  • Nurture pupils' emotional, health, and wellbeing.
  • Draw on your knowledge and understanding of various learning difficulties and additional needs to inform your practice.
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable.
Working Arrangements

This role will involve working over 5 days, with 31.25 hours per week, term time only. You will also be required to provide 30 minutes of lunchtime cover per day.
