Job Title: Panel Build Operative

Pay Range: £11.96 - £15.37 per hour based on experience and capability

We are seeking a full-time Panel Build Operative to join our team at our factory unit in Kington, north Herefordshire. As a Panel Build Operative, you will be responsible for assembling electrical control panels for the process industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble all components required according to wiring diagrams
  • Check ordered parts are correct to the control panel wiring diagrams
  • Layout the control panel to the control panel wiring diagrams
  • Wire the control panel to the control panel wiring diagrams
  • Liaise with the Panel Production Director and Production Planner with any queries
  • Complete Quality Assurance process
  • Prepare control panels for delivery
  • Other factory-based tasks when required

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read electrical schematics (training will be given)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a small team
  • Experience using hand tools, crimping, mounting and drilling
  • Driving licence
