Job Title: Panel Build Operative

Location: Kington, Herefordshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break), Friday: 08:00 - 14:30 (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break), or Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00 (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Pay Range: £11.96 - £15.37 per hour based on experience and capability

We are seeking a skilled Panel Build Operative to join our team at our factory unit in Kington, north Herefordshire. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling electrical control panels to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble all components required according to wiring diagrams
• Check ordered parts are correct to the control panel wiring diagrams
• Layout the control panel to the control panel wiring diagrams
• Wire the control panel to the control panel wiring diagrams
• Liaise with the Panel Production Director and Production Planner with any queries
• Complete Quality Assurance process

Prepare control panels for delivery and perform other factory-based tasks as required.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Ability to read electrical schematics would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be given

Attention to detail

Ability to work on your own as well as part of a small team

Experience using hand tools, crimping, mounting, and drilling

Driving licence
