About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Gwelfor High Dependency Rehabilitation and Rehab Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with long-term mental health difficulties to achieve their recovery goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as key nurse to residents, building therapeutic relationships and providing nursing input on ward rounds, best interest meetings, and care and treatment reviews.
  • Implement safe wards and positive behavioural support plans, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, promoting social inclusion and maximizing independence and quality of life.
