We are in search of a candidate with a minimum of 2 years' experience working on a picture or production desk within a local or national newsroom.

The responsibilities include supporting the production editor and assembling newsworthy content promptly.

Social media is integral to our operations, so proficiency in the major platforms (TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) is essential.

The perfect candidate will be self-driven, adept at multitasking and managing their workload, and capable of prioritizing incoming content throughout the day under the guidance of Editors.

A foundational understanding of media law is preferred, but exceptional phone etiquette and strong communication skills are essential.

You will need to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a keen eye for visuals that enhance storytelling, and an understanding of press requirements to effectively engage various outlets – including national and digital publications, broadcast, magazines, and print.
