About the Operations Improvement Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Improvement Manager to enhance our London office. Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders at all levels to analyze organizational workflows and uncover strategic opportunities for automation and process refinement. Your contributions will be vital in driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, strengthening our control frameworks, and improving operational efficiencies.

You will collaborate with experienced change agents and external experts to ensure the effective implementation of our innovative solutions throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Improvement Manager

  • Utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to identify and enhance our organizational workflows, ensuring effective collaboration among various stakeholder groups.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation to provide clear insights into existing processes, pinpointing areas for improvement, automation, and optimization.
  • Conducting in-depth data analysis to extract actionable insights and gain support from key stakeholders. Your skills in data collection and analysis will be crucial in establishing robust measurement systems to monitor process performance metrics.
  • Leading cross-departmental initiatives to drive process enhancements, applying lean principles to eliminate inefficiencies and streamline operations. Your role will be essential in fostering agreement and implementing significant changes that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Assuming the role of project manager, you will meticulously plan timelines, allocate resources, and define project milestones. Working closely with change teams and external partners, you will ensure smooth implementation and stakeholder engagement throughout the process.
  • Conducting post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of initiatives and identify further enhancement opportunities.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, serving as a trusted advisor on Six Sigma methodologies. Your mentorship will empower teams to adopt a culture of continuous improvement and drive sustained organizational success.

Qualifications for the Operations Improvement Manager

  • Demonstrated experience as a Six Sigma Process Analyst or in a similar capacity, with a proven record of delivering impactful cross-organizational improvement projects.
  • Certification in Six Sigma methodology (preferably Six Sigma Black Belt).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Visio, or similar applications.
  • Experience with automation implementations and tooling.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Proficient project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • A systematic approach with a keen eye for detail.
