Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Structures team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions for a wide range of projects.

About the Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of building structures, collaborating with the team to create efficient and integrated solutions, and ensuring health and safety and sustainability considerations are central to everything you do.

You will have the opportunity to work on exciting and varied projects, develop your leadership skills, and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and analysis of building structures
  • Collaborate with the team to create efficient and integrated solutions
  • Ensure health and safety and sustainability considerations are central to everything you do
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions
  • Supervise junior members of the team and provide learning input and verification of their design calculations, drawings, and specifications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant civil or structural engineering degree
  • Qualifications, experience, or skills in the following areas: chartership, innovative and creative approach to structural design, understanding of CDM Regulations and designer's responsibilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional planning, organisational, and time management skills
