Red Bull UK is seeking a Regional Sales Executive specializing in the Sports & Fitness sector.
As a Regional Sales Executive, you will serve as the brand's representative, ensuring that Red Bull is prominently displayed and accessible in essential locations, allowing consumers to find our products when they need them most. With a focus on fitness, your role will involve ensuring that consumers are choosing Red Bull as part of their workout regimen. You will be tasked with identifying, targeting, securing, managing, and fostering relationships with independent and small chain gyms within your designated area. Your goal will be to position Red Bull as the leading energy drink in fitness environments. This will involve creating and prioritizing a list of relevant gyms in your region, immersing yourself in the local fitness culture, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers and influential figures. This position is not a conventional 9-5 sales job; if you thrive on developing strategies and executing them while being part of the local fitness community, this opportunity is for you.
Role ResponsibilitiesBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Develop a comprehensive fitness database in your area that aligns with Red Bull's objectives and regional goals.
Identify opportunities within this database to enhance Red Bull's availability and secure new accounts.
Collaborate with the shopper team, brand team, and field marketing team to implement regional activations that keep Red Bull top of mind and drive sales.
CONTACT STRATEGY
Establish effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, including regular evaluations with essential partners.
Utilize contacts within the fitness community to enhance brand awareness and education.
Ensure all contacts are well-informed about Red Bull as a brand and product to cultivate brand advocates.
Optimize your contact matrix to maximize the availability and visibility of Red Bull.
FITNESS STRATEGY
Develop a regional strategy aimed at increasing distribution in fitness establishments within your area.
Ensure that this strategy complements the overarching sports strategy set by the National Sales Manager while leveraging local trends and opportunities.
REGIONAL GROUPS
Oversee multiple operating and franchise groups in your region, engaging with key decision-makers at a regional level.
Formulate joint business plans to unlock new distribution channels.
A genuine passion and experience in the fitness industry, with an understanding of the types of venues you will engage with and their operations.
A proven track record of meeting targets.
Skills that contribute to effective selling: communication, negotiation, and objection handling.
The ability to craft and present a compelling narrative with insight and commercial awareness.
Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
