In this role, you will employ a strengths-based methodology to evaluate the needs of clients and offer them the necessary support and guidance to enhance their overall wellbeing. This approach emphasizes the resourcefulness, strengths, and capabilities of individuals, empowering them to devise effective strategies to navigate life's challenges and maintain independence within the community.
As a Community Support Specialist, you will collaborate closely with clients, their families, service providers, and other healthcare professionals, utilizing your strong relationship management and negotiation skills. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and qualified professionals in social care and health.
Career Development: This position offers a pathway to a rewarding career in Adults' Health and Care. Our experienced Community Support Specialists may have the opportunity to participate in our social work apprenticeship program, leading to a qualification as a Social Worker.
