Radiographer Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Therapeutic Radiographer team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust as a Radiographer Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a career in radiography and become a qualified Radiographer through our apprenticeship scheme.

As a Radiographer Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide patient-centered care and support the delivery of high-quality radiotherapy services. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

• Support the delivery of patient-centered care in the Radiotherapy Department
• Work under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner to develop your skills and knowledge in radiography
• Participate in all shifts in the department, including weekends and bank holidays
• Attend mandatory training and updates, according to Trust policy
• Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide an efficient service in the Radiotherapy Department

• Evidence of meeting all of the essential qualifications (see Person Specification)
• Experience of working within a healthcare setting, preferably in a radiography or medical imaging role
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with patients and colleagues
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
