Twining Enterprise is seeking an experienced Employment Specialist to join our IPS Workwise Employment Services team. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to gain and sustain employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized employment support to clients, including vocational profiling, job search assistance, and ongoing support to help them secure and maintain employment.
- Work closely with clinical teams to ensure a seamless transition from mental health support to employment support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities and promote the benefits of hiring individuals with mental health challenges.
- Conduct regular client meetings, progress reviews, and performance reports to ensure clients are meeting their employment goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to employment support.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health challenges and a strong understanding of the relationship between employment and mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong knowledge of employment support principles and practices, including the IPS model.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including client files and performance reports.
