About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our award-winning Food and Beverage team in the Road Hole Bar.

This iconic bar is a whisky enthusiast's paradise, offering an extensive selection of over 300 whiskies from Scotland and around the world.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, anticipating guest needs, and increasing sales through upselling and offering personalized recommendations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Service:

  • Exceed guest expectations through excellent and engaging service.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Upsell products and offers to increase sales.

Preparation:

  • Follow good hygiene habits and report to work in correct and clean uniform.
  • Gain knowledge of all styles and sequences of service, including food and beverage areas for open and close.
  • Work closely with supervisors and managers to gain experience and develop skills.

House Keeping:

  • Be efficient and courteous towards all guests and associates.
  • Be conversant with the hotel's health and safety procedures, maintenance, systems, and policies.
  • Be flexible to assist in other areas if required.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-presented, and confident individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

You will have bar experience, ideally within hospitality or a similar setting, and be able to work independently as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working 5 days out of 7 on a flexible shift pattern, with a salary of £25,000 and a range of associate benefits, including gratuities and access to the hotel's fitness center and golf course.
