We are seeking a qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and build your skills in providing emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children per week, with a minimum of one day per week commitment.
- Work in a therapeutic capacity, offering emotional support and guidance to children and young people.
- Participate in regular supervision and training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of a mentally healthy school community, promoting the well-being of children and young people.
Place2Be is a leading children's mental health charity, providing in-school support and expert professional development to improve the emotional wellbeing of children and young people, families, teachers, and school staff. We currently support over 243,000 children and young people in 500 UK primary and secondary schools.

You will be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions at a level of Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or Degree, MSc, or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Psychotherapy.
We are particularly keen on attracting male candidates to reflect the diversity of the partner schools and communities we work in.
All successful applicants will be asked to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS/PVG.
