Job Title: Global Lean Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Lean Leader to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business improvement through the implementation of Lean principles and practices across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a global Lean strategy aligned with our business objectives
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of Lean experts to drive business improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
  • Design and deliver training programs to build Lean skills and capabilities across the organization
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of Lean initiatives and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment, with a strong background in Lean principles and practices
  • 10+ years of supervisory/management experience, with a proven track record of driving business improvement
  • Lean Master certification or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and navigate without formal authority to deliver on business results
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in operations/quality operations, supply chain in vaccines or biologics manufacturing
