Job Title: Global Head of Lean Operations

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Head of Lean Operations to join our team. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business improvement through the implementation of lean principles and practices across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a global lean strategy to drive business improvement and efficiency across our supply chain network.
  • Lead a team of lean experts to identify and implement process improvements, eliminate waste, and optimize workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement lean training programs and coaching initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for lean initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in a lean or process improvement role, with a strong background in manufacturing or supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record of driving business improvement and efficiency through lean principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Lean Master certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a global environment, with a strong understanding of cultural and operational differences.
