The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing production across multiple sites, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the production process across 2 sites, totaling 20 acres, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products.
- Develop and implement production plans, working closely with the wider team to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Oversee the propagation team, systems, and resources, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage the buying process for all products associated with the nursery, including young plants, bulbs, trays, and media.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to sourcing and procurement.
- Commercial nursery experience, with a strong background in production management.
- Proven track record of growing quality ornamentals from propagation to delivery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software applications.
