We are currently seeking to hire two dedicated and dependable Goods In Controllers for a permanent, full-time role, working either the 10:00 - 18:00 shift or another shift at our Sales & Distribution division.

Key Responsibilities of the Goods In Controller:

  • Verify that incoming goods match the orders in terms of product type and quantity, ensuring all documentation is accurate and recording stock into the WMS using a handheld scanner.
  • Conduct quantity and quality assessments of stock, ensuring drivers acknowledge any discrepancies.
  • Identify and segregate non-compliant items using QC Hold notices, raising a QIR for non-compliance, and documenting damages and problematic stock with digital images.
  • Measure, weigh, and validate new product information, accurately entering details into SAGE/Dispatcher.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, ensuring all paperwork is submitted to Stock Control by the end of each day.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Good command of English and Maths, with education to GCSE level (or equivalent).
  • Methodical, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communicator, capable of liaising with various internal teams at all levels.
  • Motivated, adaptable to change, and able to thrive in a busy warehouse setting.
