Head of Marketing Opportunity

Clarion Events is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts in Defence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 10 marketers across digital and events, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Digital Membership: Define a cross-channel marketing strategy for our new Membership product, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, print, and direct mail.
  • Campaign Management: Work closely with our Central Marketing function to shape the campaign strategy for Defence, ensuring both live and digital goals are captured in the plan.
  • Brand Management: Take ownership of our event website and brand management, ensuring consistency in brand messaging across all channels and marketing materials.
  • Marketing Operations and Analytics: Establish event and digital KPIs to measure the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives, utilising data analytics and insights to refine marketing strategies.
Requirements:
  • A degree or master's in marketing, business administration, or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven track record of success in marketing leadership roles in events and digital is essential.
  • Prior experience in developing and launching membership products is preferable.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools is desirable.
