Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Administrator to join our team in Sutton Coldfield. As an Engineering Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative management of the NPI budget tracker.
  • Processing of all engineering requisitions and issuing of subsequent purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Assist with booking & processing of prototype orders
  • Compilation and management of Schedule of Tooling submissions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of regular reports.
  • The set-up and maintenance of Work Centre & Stock records within the group ERP system.
  • Population of Engineering Change Logs.
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency of the organisation by performing other administrative duties as required.
  • Facilitate internal meetings to support engineering or process changes.
  • Support function to Project Managers for all required eAPQP updates
  • IMDS data inputting & submissions to portalProfile

Requirements:

  • Experience within an Engineering / Manufacturing
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Outgoing personality with ability to build working relationships with the engineering team.
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office applications are essential.
  • Full UK driving license with some flexibility to travel.
  • A working knowledge of Syspro would be desirable.
