Job Summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our project management commissions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end service delivery, often on large or complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time and cost targets and quality standards.
  • Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules of activity and resource plans.
  • Manage project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including developing and agreeing budgets.
  • Manage project information flow between the team and client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Identify and monitor project risks and plan and implement risk mitigations.
  • Prepare formal project progress and other reports.
  • Take a leading role in interfacing with the client, other consultants, and managing stakeholders at all project stages.

Requirements

  • Project experience and understanding of construction methods and risks associated in delivery.
  • IT literate, with the ability to manage and control data collected within core systems.
  • Ability to interface with site-based delivery teams.
  • Ability to understand and articulate risk to delivery where identified.
  • Ability to question and draw out information.
  • NEC (3/4) accreditation (preferred).
  • Preferred if chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS etc.
  • Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in a construction-related subject.
