Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a knowledgeable Senior Clinical Practitioner to enhance our collaborative efforts in haematology.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with haematological conditions.
  • Engagement in service development, strategic planning, education, and research initiatives is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert clinical assessments and manage treatment pathways for patients.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients, their families, and healthcare staff.
  • Maintain a high level of competence in haematology practice and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines.
  • Conduct referrals, oversee diagnostic testing, and facilitate patient education.
  • Take on line management duties as required.

Training and Development:

  • Participate in specialist training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Support the training needs of colleagues and contribute to their professional growth.
  • Share new insights and knowledge through publications and presentations.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:
  • Registered Health Care Professional with advanced clinical practice credentials.
  • MSc level qualification and non-medical prescribing certification.
  • Specialist-specific qualifications and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Experience:
  • Demonstrated expertise in nursing practice and effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Experience in policy development and service improvement initiatives.
Skills:
  • Strong teaching, presentation, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
