Deputy Nurse Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team at a care home in Bangor, N. Ireland. This is a supernumerary role, allowing you to work alongside your Nurse Manager and complete administrative tasks while still being part of the nursing team.

About the Role

This Deputy Manager position is ideal for Senior Nurses, Clinical Lead Nurses, and Sister/Charge Nurses looking for a new challenge. You will be responsible for staff management, ensuring the smooth operation of the care home's nursing team. The role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 and a range of benefits, including paid holidays, parking, and a pension fund.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing team to deliver high-quality care to residents
  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement care plans
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve the care home's services
