EHS Advisor

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Alstom, a leading global player in the rail industry. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting multiple projects across various sites, ensuring compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on EHS matters to project teams, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement EHS objectives, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and submit reports to clients as required.
- Lead and coordinate project accident investigations, near misses, and close calls, ensuring timely resolution and closure of corrective actions.
- Support project traffic management plans, induction processes, and fatigue management initiatives.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers on EHS matters, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in EHS.
- Experience working with ISO14001, ISO45001, and OHSAS/HSG 65 standards.
- Knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and railway-specific standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
