Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in East Grinstead. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for supporting customer infrastructures for multiple clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Handle escalated calls from the IT Help Desk
- Understand a client's IT infrastructure and make changes safely and effectively to meet their business goals
- Manage relationships with third parties for any escalated tickets
- Keep operational documentation up to date
- Research, recommend, and plan infrastructure systems
- Travel to client sites in the region when needed
- Minimum 3 years' experience supporting IT infrastructures for organisations with users
- CompTIA qualifications, past apprenticeship success
- Vendor qualifications from Microsoft, Citrix, Sophos, Cisco, Veaam
- Maths and English qualifications equivalent to GCSE C or above
- Delivering multiple IT Infrastructure change projects in a Microsoft-based operating environment
- Cloud services such as Microsoft 365, operating and delivering modern workplace services and tools
- Virtual Apps and Desktops (Citrix, Microsoft)
- Microsoft Exchange (any supported versions)
- Virtualisation knowledge - Hyper-v, XenServer, VMware
- Local and area networking
- VoIP systems
- Working for an established MSP
