Job Summary:
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join their team as a Site Manager/Agent/Works Manager for a water project contract in South Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering and experience working on large-scale water projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the site team to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Support the Project Manager in driving the project programme to achieve key deliverables and project milestones.
- Implement and maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with SHEQ and Environmental Management policies.
- Manage stakeholders and maintain effective communication with the project team, clients, and contractors.
- Oversee commercial and cost management to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
- Complete project handovers and ensure a smooth transition to the next phase.
- Manage subcontractors and labour resources to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager/Agent/Works Manager on water projects.
- Knowledge of NEC 4 contracts.
- Hold a HNC degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Hold a SMSTS certification and a CSCS card.
