The Lion Hotel Worksop proudly operates under the Frasers Group umbrella, situated in the vibrant community of Worksop. With 46 well-appointed bedrooms, two conference suites, a function room, and a dedicated bar and restaurant, the Lion Hotel is devoted to offering outstanding service.

Position Overview

The Lion Hotel is on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Chef De Partie to join our expanding culinary team, aimed at meeting the growing demands of our restaurant.

In the role of Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes consistently, ensuring that all food is prepared, cooked, and served to the highest standards from the outset. Compliance with all legal regulations regarding food safety, hygiene, and allergen management is essential. You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef and the broader kitchen team to innovate new dishes, mentor kitchen porters and junior chefs, and analyze and control gross profit.

This is a full-time, permanent role requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, typically involving straight shifts and consecutive days off.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a contemporary kitchen environment, either as a Commis Chef or Chef De Partie, along with a genuine passion for teamwork and a desire to positively impact menu offerings and service excellence.

Additional Notes

All candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK, with documentation required during the interview process.

Applicants will undergo an initial screening call to discuss availability, salary expectations, and experience levels.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person interview followed by a brief trial shift at The Lion Hotel.
