Job Title: Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary:

Discovered MENA is seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Scientist to lead our data-driven initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced optimization models to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of cloud-based optimization solutions using machine learning and operations research techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into business decisions.
  • Design and implement data integrity processes to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in optimization libraries and tools, including Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and optimization techniques.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with a strong focus on optimization.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, data modeling, or operations research, with deep knowledge of optimization techniques.
  • Proven experience in leading complex optimization projects, mentoring teams, and managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Expertise in integrating optimization with machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with deploying and managing models on cloud platforms and using MLOps tools.
  • Strong understanding of AI ethics in optimization and a commitment to continuous learning.
