The Role

We are seeking an ambitious External Attack Surface Engineer to join our customer-facing application team. In this pivotal role, you will help organizations understand their vulnerabilities in real-time, ensuring they can take rapid and effective action.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Attack Surface Analysis Engineering team, working on both backend and frontend systems.
  • Present data meaningfully for cybersecurity stakeholders, ensuring usability and action-ability within security-focused workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with cybersecurity R&D and product design teams to optimize data presentation.
  • Address technological and data challenges, handling large data sets and enabling clients to control their data and processes effectively.
Requirements
  • Technologies: Backend (Node.js), Frontend (Typescript), Database (MySQL), and familiarity with ECS, K8s, Airflow, Kafka, Serverless, AWS.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
  • Expertise in handling data-heavy products and presenting actionable insights.
  • Background in cybersecurity products, particularly those managing assets and vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management workflows and data prioritization strategies.
  • Proficiency with both relational and non-relational database systems.
  • Writing clean, testable code and understanding various testing strategies.
