Job Title: Highways Materials Technician - Field Engineer

Location: Home-based in England, UK

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Materials Technician - Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting technical assessments and inspections of highways materials at customer sites. You will work independently, but also as part of a team, to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product assessments against our highways scheme requirements
  • Carry out site investigation reports on defective installations
  • Perform general highways inspections on site
  • Ensure compliance with pre-identified scheme requirements
  • Deliver the required levels of productivity while maintaining the quality of inspections carried out

Requirements:

  • Construction/Highways Product Installation Techniques
  • Experience conducting field-based product/site inspections and assessments
  • Technical knowledge of Highways products (esp. HIGH FRICTION SURFACING SYSTEMS, THIN SURFACING, CRACK & PATCH REPAIR SYSTEMS or MANHOLE REINSTATEMENT SYSTEMS)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A relevant qualification (min. HNC)
