About the Role:

Boston Hale is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager - Category Development to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for leading the development, procurement, and implementation of category strategies that deliver significant business benefits across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies that align with the organization's business objectives
  • Lead the procurement process for categories, ensuring value for money and compliance with public contracts regulations
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform procurement decisions
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed procurement documentation and reports

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in public contracts regulations and procurement management
  • Proven track record of delivering high-value complex procurement solutions

  • CIPS (MCIPS) qualification or studying towards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others across the business
