About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at J. J Freight and Logistics Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently collecting and delivering goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collection and Delivery: You will be responsible for collecting and delivering goods to our clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: You will be responsible for ensuring that your vehicle is clean and secure, and that all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Customer Service: You will be the face of our company, and will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that you are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to health and safety and environmental protection.
Requirements
  • Driving Licence: You must hold a current and clean HGV Class 1 driving licence.
  • CPC: You must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
  • Communication Skills: You must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork: You must be a team player, with a positive and proactive approach to work.
  • Background Check: You must be willing to undergo a background check and a drug and alcohol test.
