School Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring that it is presented in a visually appealing way.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles, ensuring that all stock is stored and managed efficiently.
- Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our clients and customers receive a high-quality experience.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including those related to food handling and hygiene.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Be an excellent team player, able to communicate effectively with colleagues and provide support when needed.
- Have a committed and organized approach, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
- Be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and afternoons.
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
