We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring it is presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient receipt of goods.
- Represent Chartwells - Schools in a professional and positive manner, maintaining a strong brand image.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including those related to food handling and hygiene.
- Demonstrate excellent timekeeping and reliability, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and targets.
- Be an effective team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Have a strong ability to manage pressure and prioritize tasks, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency.
