POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with the Engineering Team to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient vessels for operational use.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Certified electrician or electrical engineer
  2. Familiarity with British Wiring Regulations or equivalent standards
  3. Minimum of 12V, 24V, and 415V 3-Phase systems experience
  4. Proficient in engine-driven power generation systems
  5. Experience with HVAC systems

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and the Company's Health and Safety Policy.
  2. Support Senior Marine Engineers in supervising and coordinating engineering teams for optimal service delivery.
  3. Lead technical advancements of vessels and facilities for improved operational efficiency.
  4. Maintain and service all electrical systems aboard vessels and engineering facilities.
  5. Document and report all faults and repairs in the compliance system.
  6. Conduct safety checks on all electrical systems in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  7. Prioritize maintenance tasks to keep all vessels operational, especially during quieter periods.
  8. Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on vessels as needed.
  9. Collaborate with the senior engineering team to define and implement technical enhancements for the fleet and facilities, providing thorough analysis and reporting as directed.
  10. Carry out any additional relevant duties as requested by the Head of Department or senior management.
