We are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our distinguished team at London Bridge Hospital, recognized for its exceptional patient care.

This permanent role entails delivering advanced physiotherapy services to patients in critical care, oncology, and surgical units. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, and Psychologists. The position primarily involves weekday shifts, with occasional weekend responsibilities and on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit outstanding clinical expertise in physiotherapy, underpinned by advanced theoretical knowledge, particularly in the management of patients with critical care, oncology, and complex surgical conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy evaluations, applying advanced clinical reasoning, establishing clinical diagnoses, setting rehabilitation objectives, and formulating customized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies.
  • Engage in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to patient care strategies.
  • Maintain precise and current patient documentation in accordance with departmental and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc/MSc) or equivalent qualification
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Experience in critical care and oncology settings
  • Postgraduate specialization in a relevant area
