Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage significant projects in the Energy and Renewables sectors, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  2. Take ownership of business development, building new client relationships and securing major contracts through strategic planning and negotiation.
  3. Oversee planning applications, ensuring smooth project delivery and effective stakeholder engagement.
  4. Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to drive successful outcomes and maintain strong relationships.
  5. Mentor and develop a growing team of planners, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  6. Shape the strategic direction of the company, contributing to long-term growth and innovation through strategic planning and decision-making.
About You:
  1. Extensive experience in planning, particularly in the Energy and Renewables sectors, with a strong understanding of industry trends and regulations.
  2. Strong background in business development, with a proven track record of winning new business and building strong client relationships.
  3. Leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and growing teams, and a strong ability to motivate and inspire others.
  4. Commercially minded, with strong communication and negotiation skills, and a ability to balance operational demands and client satisfaction.
  5. Strategic thinker, with the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term goals, and a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
