The Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate to enhance our Commercial practice. This position presents a unique chance to develop and expand our Commercial services with the backing of a robust national team. You will collaborate with a distinguished group of professionals, including partners, to elevate our offerings in the region.
This role is ideal for a dynamic lawyer eager to take the next step in their career by establishing a thriving Commercial practice. You will be integrated into our Corporate and Commercial department, receiving support from a dedicated team committed to fostering new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating, and providing counsel on a variety of commercial agreements, such as supply contracts, terms and conditions, distribution deals, franchise agreements, and outsourcing contracts.
- Addressing day-to-day commercial inquiries from a diverse client base.
- Assisting General Counsel on critical business initiatives.
- Building and nurturing effective client relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Participating in marketing and promotional activities to enhance the firm's profile.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A qualified solicitor status with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- Strong technical abilities and a creative approach to legal challenges.
- Proven experience in managing responsibilities and progressing matters independently.
- A client-centric mindset with a focus on service excellence.
- Demonstrated business development skills and substantial client management experience.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative working style.
