Commercial Solicitor Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join a leading law firm in Exeter. This is a great chance to build a strong Commercial practice in the South West, with the full support of a large national commercial team.

About the Role

As a Commercial Solicitor, you will be part of the Exeter Corporate and Commercial department, working closely with a team of six people to develop new business and advise clients on a diverse range of commercial matters. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply agreements, Ts&Cs, distribution agreements, and joint venture agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a first-class service to clients, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial agreements
  • Proactive marketing and profile raising to develop new business
  • Exceptional client and team management, including promotions and quarterly check-ins
  • Advising on ad hoc day-to-day commercial queries from a varied client base
  • Supporting General Counsel on business critical projects
Requirements
  • 6+ PQE Lawyer with experience within Commercial matters
  • Commercial awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week (minimum of 2 days in the office)
