The Shared Information Services department is embarking on an exciting ERP system implementation programme, and we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support this initiative. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in eliciting and documenting requirements, as well as assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to gather and define business, financial, and operational requirements for project work and 'business as usual' tasks.
- Conduct interviews, gather user requirements via meetings, questionnaires, or site visits, and model the output using workflows, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods within a detailed specification.
- Create new process flows for operational procedures, such as on-boarding new staff, managing staff moves, and providing user support.
- Carry out testing (unit, system, regression) and coordinate UAT, involving writing detailed use cases, scenarios, and test cases.
- Participate in or contribute to user support via our global service desk as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' solid Business Analyst experience, with a high level of written English.
- University degree or diploma in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent is desirable.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.
- Full software development lifecycle experience.
- Experience writing and executing test cases.
- Technical ability, such as writing SQL.
Personal Attributes
- Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and technical team members.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
