About the Role

We are seeking experienced clinicians to join our team as Functional Assessors in Milton Keynes. As a Functional Assessor, you will utilize your clinical expertise to conduct thorough assessments of individuals with a wide range of medical, cognitive, and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct file-work, face-to-face, and telephone/video assessments with customers to determine the impact of their disabilities on their daily lives and work-related activities.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at DWP to make informed decisions regarding benefit claims.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of a variety of medical conditions and their effects on daily life.
What We Offer

We provide comprehensive training to support our assessors in developing the skills and knowledge required for the role. You will have access to ongoing CPD, support with revalidation, and opportunities for career development within the organization.

As a Functional Assessor, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £39,000 - £41,500 per annum, with part-time opportunities available. Our full-time role is Monday to Friday, 9 - 5, with flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience and registration in the UK. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
