Job Overview

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our Adults Community Mental Health Team in WAM (Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead). The successful candidate will work within a well-established operational team, providing responsive and high-quality clinical services to mental health service users and their carers.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will hold a caseload and focus on delivery of a specific time-limited intervention using the recovery model. The care and treatment will focus on empowering service users to use their strengths, skills and special interest to help in their recovery whilst under the secondary services working with our Multidisciplinary Team.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a Degree/Diploma in Mental Health Nursing and current NMC Registration. Previous knowledge and experience of working in a care environment and with service users who have complex mental health needs is essential. The successful candidate will also have experience of clinically supervising junior and unqualified staff and mentoring students.
