Lead Python Software EngineerWe are looking for an innovative Lead Python Software Engineer with a solid history in crafting resilient backend systems and scalable applications. This position is tailored for a proactive, entrepreneurial-minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, driving the creation and delivery of high-quality software solutions effectively.
The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Python and its application in web and software development, coupled with a strong enthusiasm for addressing complex challenges and contributing to the advancement of state-of-the-art technology.
Job Qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on Python.
- Thorough understanding of web technologies and architectures, with the capability to design and implement efficient, scalable solutions.
- Experience in developing and deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, adept at working in dynamic settings to deliver innovative solutions that challenge technological limits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to tackle intricate challenges and provide practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience in agile development teams.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, asynchronous communication, and CI/CD pipelines, showcasing proficiency in modern deployment and containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby) is a plus.
- Active involvement in the tech community, evidenced by contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or speaking engagements.
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems, APIs, and services, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Expertise in Python and its frameworks (such as Django, Flask, FastAPI), with a strong grasp of software engineering principles.
- Design and implement data storage solutions, understanding the intricacies of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and integration of third-party services.
- Promote and implement best practices in code quality, testing, and maintenance to ensure high standards are met and maintained.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, and other engineers to create cohesive and innovative solutions.
