Job Overview

We take pride in delivering an exceptional experience at Bosworth Independent School, and the Catering team plays a vital role in this by providing high-quality, healthy meals daily to our students, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily catering provision in the kitchen, including meal production and supporting Catering Assistants. You will also ensure a high level of food hygiene quality and standards at all times, adhering to health and safety procedures, and maintaining the 5* rating awarded by the Environmental Health Organisation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide and produce meals at high volume, ensuring quality and value for money.
  • Ensure students and staff receive a varied and balanced diet, meeting government legislation requirements.
  • Understand and implement HACCP, COSHH, Level 2 Hygiene, and SFBB procedures.
  • Recommend and promote new menu ideas for our diverse student population.
