Job Title: Heating Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team at REED Specialist Recruitment. As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards in gas and oil servicing, responding to maintenance requests, and communicating effectively with management and the Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out gas and oil servicing to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Respond to maintenance requests as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with management and the Quantity Surveyor.
  • Itemize and execute work in customers' dwellings and premises.
  • Uphold Data Protection Policies and maintain confidentiality.
  • Travel across Northern Ireland and Ireland as required for work.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management to ensure efficient business operations.
Health & Safety:
  • Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies.
  • Report any accidents or health & safety issues appropriately.
  • Ensure comprehension and adherence to all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work.
  • Follow all manual handling practices.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility for OFTEC and inclusion on the Gas Safe Register.
  • Evidence of completed gas courses such as CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1, or others.
  • Up-to-date Gas qualifications and certification.
  • Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Experience in the construction or plumbing and heating industry.
