About the Role:

Cruelty Free International is seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Officer to join our Engagement & Communications team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our fundraising efforts and contribute to the development and implementation of our new income generation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our new income generation strategy, working closely with the Fundraising Manager and colleagues across the organisation.
  • Develop and execute fundraising appeals that inspire donors to contribute financially to our organisation, using your excellent copywriting and creative skills.
  • Maintain effective response handling, ensuring donations are processed in line with best practice guidelines, donors are thanked promptly, and supporter records on our CRM are maintained and updated.
  • Work closely with the wider engagement and communications team to deliver outward-bound communications tasks, such as targeted telephone fundraising campaigns, to acquire new donors and reactivate lapsed donors.
  • Utilize your excellent communication skills to increase engagement, income, and drive long-term relationships with our supporters.

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management skills and an enthusiastic self-starter with a hands-on approach, capable of working independently or as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Strong fundraising knowledge and experience, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing fundraising strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting and creative skills, with the ability to develop compelling fundraising appeals that inspire donors to contribute financially to our organisation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation.
